Les Grottes de Saint-Cézaire

On a lazy Sunday afternoon, we took a drive to St. Cezaire, 15km from Grasse to see the caves. The St. Cézaire grottos were discovered in 1890 by local farmer Léon Dozol while he was working his land. The caves have beautiful formations of stalactites and stalagmites.

After the visit, we drove some more to other villages along the route, and for the first time, saw a field of poppies, you have to see the real thing. Photos do not do justice, but posted for your vicarious lifestyle !!! J J

As spring progresses, there are heaps of beautiful trees/shrubs/ flowers coming into bloom…... The tulips are gone, now its roses. Here’s some from gardens in our neighborhood.

Yes, there is a scarecrow!!
Ducks in the pond and also some that just out of their shell
