Austria and Germany

Innsbruck

Innsbruck – is absolutely beautiful and scenic, from snowcapped mountain to valleys, nice site-seeing, good food, lots of history. The Winter Olympics have been held here twice; first in 1964 and then in 1976. And yes, everyone speaks German!!! (From French to Italian and then German ~ of all we understand very little) We explored the old town some and found a place to eat next to the hotel.

Gene had a teaching assignment for four days so he had to go to the office while I was the one on vacation again~I like my full time job!!

Hotel Mozart where we stayed

Hofgarten

After a long walk, the bakery looked really inviting with lots of pastry and coffee.

Hi,
I have been trying to locate the village of Reid where my grand mother is from. Can you give me some detail as to where the village is? We are going to Germany in February. Thankj you so very much,

Ann Marie
